My ethnographic research explores the rich tapestry of Black Western culture through the lens of family and generational experiences. Using visual anthropology and ethnographic storytelling, I document the passed-down traditions, evolving practices, and enduring legacies of Black cowboys, ranchers, and rodeo performers. By amplifying these multigenerational narratives, I reveal how families have preserved and innovated their cultural heritage, challenging stereotypes and expanding our understanding of American Western identity across time.
Diversity is our strength, and our voices are powerful instruments of change.”

Delve into this curated collection and embark on a journey of understanding, one that dismantles barriers and inspires transformative dialogues. Through the power of visual storytelling, we can transcend boundaries, cultivate empathy, and embrace the multifaceted tapestry of human existence that so richly defines our shared experience. |
